Awesome for quick 2-3 day travels

Nice bag. well made. Lots of space. Goes on bike easy. I've purchased many bags, but I would have to say this one is the BEST.

今回、ようやく本格的に使用して雨の日があったり砂浜を走ったりしても砂や雨による荷物の被害がなく容量もかなり詰めて滅茶苦茶に使い勝手が良くて買ってよかったです。

I love this bag, it's very versatile.
Ryan S.
This bag holds significantly more than expected and fits well across back seat, plenty of mounting loops to strap down easily as well. Overall very satisfied.
david s.
Great bag, took some time to get use to them after changing from my hard luggage, but it is much lighter, bigger storage, and looks good. I was bought the rackless motobags as a retirement present, so the bought the overland to go with them. they are all brilliant, well happy.
Tony S.
Great product, great company!
The Overlander 30 is so versatile. I use it mainly for my camera, audio & drone. Quick harness is so convient. 4 clicks & it comes with me. Photo is of Central Queensland AUS. No dust or movement. It stays where you put it.
Bennart Z.
Amazing bag what is really easy to click on click of. On first sight you might think it’s too full with webbings but they are all in the right place and it just works really well.
Wouter v.
This bag is exactly what I required. A waterproof, easy to mount/dismount bag made from sturdy material.
Bruno R.

Excellent quality product at all levels, one of my accessory parts for my motorcycle.

防水性も良く台風の時にも中は全く影響無く安心して使える
サイドバックと合わせても自分には充分な容量でやっと辿り着いた感じ
ただし、セキュリティ面では少し心配です。

It’s great , as it is very well made . You put lots of thoughts into it. It’s a very versatile bag and it come with all the straps you need, which is great.

Très bon matos fait très solide.
Petite remarque très personnel,je trouve dommage que l'ont ne puisse pas désolidarisé les bretelles de sac a dos facilement.

I ride a 2015 Ducati multistrada 1200s which came with a Givi mono lock rear rack. I am not a big fan of how Givi hard luggage looks. So I wanted a bag that I could technically use for any kind of travel, not necessarily Moto related. I also wanted robust mounting options and a bag that holds its shape regardless of how full it is. The overlander 30 was perfect. Recently tried it out on a 1700ish mile trip from NorCal to SoCal over 8 days. Held all my stuff. Dint move an inch on the highway or twisties thanks to the awesome mounting straps. Special mention to the amazing strap management built into every strap. No more loose straps flapping around in the wind. The beavertail is such an awesome bonus, was able to starp down stuff like rain gear and my water bottle for quick access. What a great product. Goes to show the amount of thought that went into the design. Customer service here in the US is also top notch. Way to go guys and thank you.
Alexander K.
Great look and functionality. Fits perfect on my bike. Consider buying the MotoBags in the near future.
Bruno D.
très content de mon sac Overlander
les fixations sont solides.
le volume est bon et le sac est confortable sur le dos également.
merci
Steven C.
I bought the smaller bag to give me the extra capacity needed for an upcoming week long trip with the Mrs, who's bike doesn't have any luggage fitted currently.
It's a really smart design and fits on the bike really well.
Additionally while we were are it was very handy to be able to use it as a rucksack when not on the bike.
I'm contemplating buying the bigger bag also, and fitting this one to the Mrs bike for the next trip.
There's 1 improvement I feel would be beneficial, the current design can mean that the security "D" loop can stick into your back when in "backpack mode" especially if the bag is full. If this could be repositioned 50° round or so I think it'd fix this issue.
Overall great bag, great design.
Gilles R.
Bart Kylian v.
Loving it, I’m using it for the gym, now I don’t have to stuff a gym bag in my panniers that barely fits.
5/5
Would definitely buy more bags in the future!
Brad G.
Great Bag. Attaching was easy. lots of extra straps. tons of attachment points to add on. Rode thru rain and didn't have to worry about me gear. Doubling as a backpack was helpful when I had to unpack.
Highly recommend.
Matt J.
Wow! What a bag! Nothing but positive things about everything about this bag, the quality, the straps, the pockets, zippers, looks and even how it attaches to the rack. Well done Lone Rider!
Akihiko N.
This bag is very nicely designed. It is easier to open/close and unlock/lock a hard case lid in one action, of course, but this bag has its own value in its function and it gives the rider a pleasure not only to use it, but also to be watching it fitted on the bike. A five-star product.
Ben L.
Excellent, versatile bag! Tough as nails, well priced, and perfect on my T120!
Hunter F.
It’s an amazing product durable and versatile, the provided mounting straps make it easy to lock down to the bike assuring your gear is there when you need it. I highly recommend for anyone searching for a product built to deliver no matter the road your choose to ride on.
Daniel C.
I just completed the NEBDR with the 30l Overlander and can confirm that is completely waterproof after enduring two days of heavy rain. I especially like the air release valve that allows one to easily compress the bag once the roll top is fastened. One minor gripe is with the plastic insertable bag stiffener. I found it difficult and awkward to install. Once installed it gave the bag a “rolly-polly” shape even after repeated attempts to square up the plastic stiffener. I eventually removed it altogether and used the bag without it.
Gilles G.
ce sac est parfait, tout est adapté a l utilisation pour le motard. vraiment un achat que je ne regrette pas :)
Oscar T.
You certainly get what you pay for. Very nice workmanship. Well designed with quality material. I was lucky enough to buy a used GSA with the Lone Rider side bags but the previous owner kept the top bag. Now my system is complete.
Dan F.
This bag is Always attached to the bike and has held up amazingly well.
Chris M.
I purchased the Overlander to supplement my Motobags for longer trips.
Like the Motobags it’s a great, bomb-proof piece of kit with a ton of thoughtful details. Me, the GS, and the bags have had more than a few spills together in challenging (for me!) conditions, and the bags are awesome.
I’ve mounted it a couple of ways to find my preference, which is a testament to its flexibility.
Like the motobags I do find it a bit fiddly for everyday puttering about - a few too many straps and clips, esp. when you forget that one thing - but as a travel / road trip / camp trip bag it’s simply awesome.
Shawn B.
Awesome bag, kept my goods dry through heavy storm. Easy to get in and out of just would like it to have come with locking feature.
William M.
As with the other Lone Rider products I’ve purchased, the 30L Overlander bag is top notch quality. The included straps make mounting safe and secure (2017 1200GS) as well as portable using the padded backpack straps. I highly recommend the Overlander.
Ryan G.
Best extra bag I have ever had. Do it!
Marshall L.
4/5 because the keys that come with it are the same keys lonerider ships out to everyone. So if someone has a lonerider bag, they can just use their key to unlock yours and remove from your bike - not amazing
Very durable, good looking, good quality
Don M.
This is my second 48 l Overlander. Two? Only one motorcycle? I have used my second one only once since receiving it. My other bag was used four times in the last year until a problem. The air release valve was broken on the inside and turned without working properly. I contacted LoneRider about a fix, or a replacement valve. After a few pictures I was sent a brand new bag. This is the best customer service one can ask for. The large bag holds all my rain gear, shoes, liners for my jacket, extra clothes and water. The back pack straps work great. Mounting options galore! No leaks. No complaints.
Ali A.
Very practical….more from what we need from the size
Dexter Jay C.
its really reliable I use it for everyday ride its easy to bring anywhere I go I travel a lot for its been a couple a week since I use it its some have issue but its really worth it and the best service they have I ask for warranty for the bag because it has minor factory defect and they answer my message right away
thank you LONE RIDER very satisfied customer here!
there will be more purchase to come
james k.
This bag is perfect. I can fit lots of stuff in it for work - computer, lunch bag, tennis shoes, jacket liner - all without any problem. It is the perfect size for a day trip or multiple days. The backpack straps are really nice and make it easy to transport. This is a very well thought out product.
Wayne F.
I purchased the 30L bag, will definitely be purchasing the larger bag in the future.
Lone Rider is one of the better Companies to deal with, and the products are of the highest quality.
Marco D.
Finally I‘ve mounted the overlander 30l to my new Honda Transalp.
It looks awesome and fits perfect on the rear rack without any need to install a mounting plate and there is still room for a pillion, nice.
In the next days the ordered Steelcore should arrive, then I can leave the overlander installed while I‘m taking a break at the gas station, yep!
For my use I think I‘ve made the right decision to go with bag over Kriega US bags.
Save ride
Marco
jojo
excellent sac qui fonctionne aussi sur un roadster, ne manque plus qu'un motobag moins haut ( genre 20 litres ) et ce serait parfait, l'espoir fait vivre ;-)
Damon S.
Very nice, love this bag.
Elizabeth P.
Does it really need a review? This bag is simply amazing! Well built, waterproof, looks cool! I use it almost every day for my commute to work. So easy to clip and unclip. I would suggest adding a shoulder strap (I know I have the back pack, but I would like to have just that one purpose strap.) my husband bought me the bladder bag to go with it. I simply love it. All the combination you can do with this bag is perfect. I highly recommand!! Don’t hesitate to buy!
Lance G.
Really nice bag. I returned it because I ended up getting a hard case my Helmet could fit it. Otherwise it's awesome
Mike B.
Great bag with amazing capacity. Very happy with this purchase and I use it daily
Teri C.
The bag is very durable. Holds a lot of gear. I would have loved the entire inside a bright color. It is very difficult to see inside. Also a quicker way to hook in the backpack straps. I ended up making a shoulder carry strap that goes end to end. It pulls the bag tighter over the roll top, then loosens to become a shoulder strap to carry into the hotel.
Travis D.
I like the top load
John T.
Great product, both in design/function and looks!
DIEGO D.
Definitively and probably the best choice among all the (big) tailbags we have been considering. This bag can be installed on the rack itself of the motorbike without taking the space of the pillion passenger and without extra rack adapter. It can be fixed firmly without moving during the ride. This bag is not hard but not too soft also and this thanks to the red inner board. The materials is strong and quality at the top including the strong handles when bag is heavy loaded… 2 suggestions : (1) LED lighting band around the inner side of the bag could be a plus… (2) Lone Rider should propose a steelcore security strap of its own brand…
Clay C.
Great product! The material looks and performs great. I've used it on multiple camping trips with no issues. Highly recommend!
dale w.
Love there products
Renato L.
I like it a lot and have been using it on a daily basis as a backpack. It's light, sturdy and the 30L one is great for me. I've been in a few dirt roads and under rain and the bag is very well sealed. My only little complaint and the reason why it's not a 5 stars is due to the limited number of internal pockets and no dividers whatsoever. I also like the quick release system from the rear rack....at the end, you can't go wrong with this bag.
Joaquin S.
The 48L is the perfect size for my needs. It was simple to install. It looks great on my HD Pan America. It's the perfect solution for a complete hard bag system which , I'm glad I didn't have to do. It's a great system.
Jimmy V.
I have this 30 liter bag and have using it for 2 months and i love it already made a few nice trips! And if I went to sleep in a hotel it was also easy to loosen and fasten i am satisfied with it
Jon W.
Love the 48ltr overlander bag! Perfect size for holding all my camping “stuff”. Attaches easily to the Black Dog helicopter pad I installed in place of the pillion seat on my 22 GSA. Even makes a great backrest. Bought a steelcore strap so I can lock it anto my bike to prevent theft. The two way air valve self destructed on a recent trip to Texas. I contacted Lone Rider and Anna was a big help. She ended up sending me a replacement bag because the air valve couldn’t be repaired. I’ve got the ADV tent also and love it. It’s been up and down well over 100 times and still like new. Lone Rider makes the best moto adventure equipment and really stands behind their products.
Chris C.
Fantastic bag!! All my camping gear fits inside. I was able to fit the moto tent, a cot, chair, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, sleeping pad, small lantern and a cook stove. Lived out of it for 55 days and 12500 miles on the trans America trail. The air valve broke and fell out about halfway through the trip. Still kept everything clean and dry. Had it replaced under warranty. Customer service is fantastic.
Jim F.
Excellent bag only complaint is map pouch that Velcro’s To the bag blew off on my first Trip. Dang it but it is a very nice high quality bag ! Good job!
Frank L.
This bag is so versatile. Has a ton of space and best of all my wife likes it. We use it mostly for her items. All my reviews of Lone Rider products end the same. There is no better motorcycle bags!
Bryan O.
Great quality and is a must have for the GS!
Christopher V.
Hell of a good bag, built the way you would expect it to be. Do you pay more than most of the competitors… yes, but what you get is a hell of a bag with all the accessories you need to use the bag that will last and last and last. Went above and beyond my expectations!
Robert L.
It’s light, tough, more useful than a large metal top case, it is extraordinarily well thought out. The bottom right is over my BMW GS Adv exhaust. It gets hot but doesn’t seem to hurt although it’s worrisome. BMW makes no large metal case and it costs nearly $1,500 to mount a Touratech metal case.
Spencer G.
The 48liter and 30 liter are stackable or put the 30 over the rear seat. It was hard to find out if you could fit a passenger with a 48 liter and the answer is yes on a gs1250. This baggage is top notch and highly recommended.
John S.
I first ordered a large 48 l that they accidentally sent the smaller bag.
When I called them they immediately sent the correct bag and then offered me a discount instead of sending the other one back.
I'm very happy that I decided to purchase both bags. This was a 1000 mile trip zigzagging around Arkansas hammock tent camping for four nights. We only had one bad weather day and of course everything stayed bone dry. I really like how the bags strap to my bike and also strap together. For me this was a very big purchase because I never spend this kind of money on luggage. I work out of town about 1 to 2 weeks a month and sometimes more and my old travel bag that is not waterproof finally bit the dust and blew out a couple of zippers but after 18 years of traveling I decided it was time to buy a bag that I could use on the motorcycle and on my daily out of town visits.
Nowadays having to stay in hotels it is nice to know that I have a bag that is not only waterproof but when sealed up I know there is no chance of a tag along bug coming home haha know what I mean.
The red interior sure makes it a lot easier to see things and I also bought the red bag accessories which also has helped by putting certain things in those I know I can reach in the bag and feel and not even have to look and know what I'm grabbing.
The water bladder actually worked perfect for my old Camelback and something else I did not have to purchase.
I say these bags lasting for many many years and I am so happy I purchased them. Of course as I was walking into my last hotel during my work and not motorcycling I had my 48 l on my back using the backpack straps and immediately a guy in the lobby must have been a motorcyclist and had to ask about the bags, so of course I had to show him the pictures of my Arkansas trip and also show him the bag.
They are well put together and so far after a thousand Mile motorcycle trip and 20-25 nights out of town working they just work.
A short outing I take the smaller one but mostly just take the 48.
Thank you lone rider for building a great go bag.
Alberto B.
Extraordinary materials very well done the best l ever had!
TOMOHIRO T.
very easy to use!
Daniel P.
The bag is large and durable and I would recommend it for any journey. Depending how much you pack, you can get away with nearly a week’s worth of clothing. I use this bag mostly as a commuter bag as I work out of town. It carries a change of clothes, workout clothes, small tub of weight lifting supplements, some snacks and a large iPad.This bag is almost too much for daily use. A slightly smaller bag, more square, with just a shoulder strap and shorter quick disconnect straps would be perfect! Your tail bag is too small and I don’t like tank bags.
Fred G.
Well made bag. I plan to use it on the back of a new Honda 125 trail the updated version of the old trail lady. We’re gonna do some touring.
Laurent A.
perfect for everyday use
Saxon P.
The season is still early where I live so I haven't used it on the bikes yet; however, I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the bag.
One suggestion would be to have handles available to carry the Overlander as a duffle bag rather than just a backpack.
We plan on using it on our BMW GS Adventure and Harley Street Glide for long tours.
Well done Lone Rider!
francois g.
Je suis plus que satisfait surtout de votre garantie merci beaucoup
Kevin G.
This is a great bag and serves my purpose beautifully. Will definitely get good use out of it.
James M.
We have only used the side bags so far, I can’t believe how much stuff we can fit it there. These bags are way beyond what I thought they were when I first saw them advertised. Totally impressed.
Qassim A.
The best or never
Love it
Paul M.
The bag is great. The attachments are difficult to deal with. The extra lengths of straps do not hold in the Velcro and then blow in the wind.
Nickolaus E.
I love this bag kinda wish that I got the bigger bag but it is perfect for everything that I need for almost every day trip. I will definitely get the pannier bags later! The build quality is awesome and the MOLLE webbing is perfect fit my medical kit! I love that I can access the bag with it attached to the bike! I haven’t had to test the waterproofing yet but I’m sure that it will hold up. I love the fact that you can quickly detach the bag and carry it like a backpack. I detach it daily for my job walking back and forth with my gear! I also love the patches that I can swap out and change when I want to!
charles k.
Hi charles here the bag is the 30L OverLander good quality should do the job.

I am on a 25,000 mile motorbike trip through Central and South America to bring awareness to a very misunderstood trait called HSP. High Sensing people, such as myself are kind, compassionate and very intuitive people. We process information deeply. As such, I chose the Long Rider bags for good reason. They are extremely durable, functional and cost affective. HSP's do not make rash decisions. I am extremely happy I choose your products for this adventure. You can find out more about my cause at www.thelivingadventurer.com,
Please, if you know of any Highly Sensitive People, tell them about me as I will be promoting your product as well on my site. Thank you
Jorge H.
Great quality. Great service. Will buy again
Oswaldo A.
It`s a great product, functional, practical and look very well in my bike, highly recommended!
The ratio cost benefit it´s excelent
PEDRO ALEJANDRO F.
the overlander is great product, eficient and very practical to hook!!
James C.
This was the best Christmas gift, the construction is solid and all seams are consistent and well made. The quality of this product was all that I expected and have no complaints. There were some issues shipping to Canada, when I contacted Anna, she advised that there is a Canadian warehouse being set up in the next months to bypass the challenges of shipping from the USA to Canada. Thank you for that. Now the best part, without me asking for any support Anna offered to cover the USA storage and Duty charges. (The shipment was delayed). Anna will get all my future business, please make the Moto pegs for a CB500X, you would get at least one sale.
Shezaan M.
Amazing All weather bag. Highly recommended.
Hadef A.
Not adapted to attach to a seat other than the driver's seat

Finally got my Loneriders! love them. Winter is too long
Robin
Absolutely love the versatility of the overlander bag. It's built to last, and built to be user friendly in every way. It's noticeable that it's designed by, and for motorcyclists.
Fitted perfectly to my KTM 990 SMT!
